An antique Victorian era locket richly decorated with meaningful motifs typical of the time. The front is molded with a (quite modern looking) geometric design and the back plain, all smoothly rounded and familiar in the hand as we feel a good locket should. In her day this locket would have had a most special place in her owner's heart.
Metal: the locket is of Gold Plated Silver and the chain of an indeterminate Gold coloured base metal which we are unable to ascertain.
Measurements: the locket measures one and a half inches lengthwise and the chain measures 24 inches and fastens with a chunky dog clasp.
In most cases the boxes are for display only but a nice quality modern reproduction box will accompany this piece.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
