An wonderful antique gentleman's watch chain or 'Albert' complete with T-bar and swivel clasp upon which to attach the watch, and with an interesting much older Silver half crown coin dating to the reign of George the 2nd mid 1750's or thereabouts. What a fabulous find! So stylish to wear as a quirky statement this piece is super quality and is marked with the Lion passant symbol on every link indicating the purity of the metal.
Measuring 13 inches, the links on the chain are cleverly tapered in size and drape nicely when worn. The T Bar is markef for 1917 and also with the maker's mark 'H.P' for Henry Pope of Pitsford Street in Birmingham.
