Sometimes one can feel the presence of the past in a piece of jewellery, and this is one of those occasions. A rich 22ct Gold wedding band which has a full London hallmark for 1913 and has been 'pimped up' with the addition of a hand cut Diamond!
A setting of darkened Silver and 9ct yellow gold creates the mount to the stone, which is a paler more rosy hue. After a mediaeval styling, perhaps the jeweller referenced an antique 'stirrup' ring which they'd seen in a museum?

Stone: The natural Diamond itself has dark black inclusions and weighs 0.60ct.
Metal: solid 22ct yellow Gold weighing 6.7 grams. Hallmarked in 1913. The maker's mark is for William Wilkinson of Skinner St & Clerkenwell Road, London.
Measurements: The band is 6mm wide.
Ring Size: a ring size 'P' or US '7.5', and a very small amount of adjustment might be possible.
