Vintage Art Deco Sapphire & Diamond Cluster Ring

Dating to the 1920's/30's, a vintage Art Deco inspired Sapphire and Diamond cluster ring, all original and really striking on the hand. The distinctive design is beautifully light and lovely with open details along with beading to the sideview; all nicely balanced and pretty just as you'd ideally like. 

The older hand cut Diamonds (which vary in cut and colour slightly would have been recycled in the making of this ring as they date in cutting style from the 18th/19th century) framing the Sapphire add a daintily enchanting glitter, with 6 teeny rose cut diamonds.

Likely crafted in the US (mounted in Platinum which rests on an 18ct yellow Gold gallery and tapered band) as this kind of fineness was a specialty. 100% recycled and therefore ethically sound, you can also be sure that an artisan jeweller has taken care and attention to create this vintage jewel and you'll never see another entirely the same. 

Ring Size: L or 5.5 as is and possible to alter somewhat for fit

Metals: 18 carat yellow Gold to the band and under gallery; Platinum to the setting of the stones (marked with a workshop stamp '18K' to the inner band. Likely of US origin. 

Stones: Sapphire and antique hand cut natural Diamonds
The sapphire measures 6.5mm x 4.5mm with an approx calculated weight of around 1.00ct.
The 2 larger diamonds measure approx 0.08ct total.  

Measurements: the cluster measures 8mm by 13mm
