'Wartime measures also saw the introduction of a 'utility' mark, the result of a Board of Trade Prohibition of Supplies Order of 1942. This restricted the manufacture of gold wedding rings to 9 carats and a weight of less than 2 dwts.'
It is 2.95mm wide and nicely rounded and comfortable. It measures as an 'M' or '6.25' as is but could be taken up three sizes with no extra charge. Just leave a message on your order form.
