An interesting and very pretty vintage Diamond rosette cluster engagement ring crafted by hand as a celebration of the Georgian aesthetic. A romantic inspiration with a perennial bloom at its centre which is complimented by a beautifully shaped band which captures a most love-ly charm as of a budding rose just opening...
With flowing intricacies to the 18ct Gold shoulders, all has a beautiful completeness. It is difficult to date this ring as revival jewels have been made across the two centuries past, but we would judge latter 20th century and perhaps a Continental origin.
Stones: natural Diamonds. The central Brilliant-cut stone measures half a carat judged in the setting with a Schindler gauge and is tremendously bright and scintillant. The eight older Diamonds to the petals are hand cut and recycled in the making of this ring. They measure around 0.03ct each and so the combined weight is around 0.75ct.
Metal: 18ct yellow Gold to the band and Silver to the setting of the stones. Tested but neither marked.
Ring Size: L or 5.5 as is but suitable to alter for fit. This is a free service, just leave a message on your order form.
Measurements: the cluster measures 8mm across
In most cases the boxes are for display only but a nice quality modern reproduction box will accompany this piece.
