A miniature love token dating to the mid 19th century and in the Georgian style designed to capture the magick spell of LOVE. The so-called 'witches' heart has a little flick to the left and as a gift denotes that the giver of the love token is 'bewitched.' Crafted with such neatness and precision, the miniature Pearls are all natural and the charm of the blood red Guilloche enamel adds a touch of emotion.
This tiny treasure was likely once a bar brooch (as one can see the remains of the fittings to the reverse).
