A very sweet and pretty pair of antique Turquoise earrings likely dating to the latter 19th or early 20th century. Entirely hand crafted, the pretty little cabochon gems are set in fluted frames of 15ct yellow Gold and fasten to the back of the ear with a hook. They'd suit a smaller ear as they are of petite proportions.
Stones: natural (likely Persian origin) Turquoise
Metal: 15ct yellow Gold, a standard used in Britain between the years of 1854-1932. Stamped to the safety wire.
Measurements: they hang 1.5cm extent from the wires.
In most cases the boxes are for display only but a nice quality modern reproduction box will accompany this piece.
