Dating to around 1910, an antique blue Moonstone necklace with a glowing ethereal aura which shimmers as light passes over the domed cabochon gems. Mounted in 9ct Gold in the refined Edwardian manner, these gorgeous natural gemstones have a superior adularescence which would lead us to think that they have a Sri Lankan origin. Associated with many a mystique and with its links to its namesake, the Moonstone holds a feminine allure both protective and dreamy.
The chain measures 17 inches and fastens with a tiny and neat bolt ring clasp.
