Vintage Recycled Hand Cut Diamond Engagement Ring

An adorable vintage Diamond solitaire engagement ring in the imaginatively romantic style first seen in the 1950's; a central budding bloom accented by leafesque shoulders. 

All hand crafted in Platinum to the setting, a slender model with tiny hand engraved ornamentation to each shoulder, the beautiful recycled old hand cut Diamond held aloft is very lovely indeed; a pristine white with two small natural inclusions formed billions of years ago only visible under a 10x lens. Cut around the 1890's, she is nicely clean and with the characteristic plump shape and larger facets (which give an especially bright glinty sparkle) and all the wonderful personality we love in these older cuts which just isn't seen in modern laser cut Diamonds. Buying vintage is the best choice for ethical reasons and has the added benefit of originality and that special allure which all hand crafted art has.  

Stones: Natural Diamond. A recycled hand cut stone measured at around 0.60ct judged in the setting with a Schindler Gauge. 

Metal: 18ct white Gold and Platinum marked inside the band with a workshop stamp as was custom at the time. Weighs 2.93 grams. 

Ring Size: M and a half or 6.25 as is but can easily be altered to suit
