Sensationally sparkly, this vintage Diamond engagement ring dates to the mid 20th century, circa 1950's and expresses a dainty and fine aesthetic, pared back and simple. The feature Diamond is of a pristine whiteness and cut in the 'ideal' brilliant style believed to be the best cut to display the scintillation of the Diamond.
Mounted in fine Platinum with hand beaded Diamond set shoulders which rest on a slim 18ct Yellow Gold band, all is fashioned by hand and in the style which has been loved down the decades.
A super choice for reasons both ethical and originality...
Stones: natural brilliant-cut Diamond measured at 0.50ct judged in the setting using a Schindler Gauge. The Diamond does have a couple of natural inclusions (one carbon and one indented 'natural') which can be seen in our magnified photographs, but neither despoil the loveliness of her sparkle and were formed during the growth of the crystal over a billion years ago.
Metal: 18ct yellow Gold to the band and Platinum to the setting. Marked '18CT' 'PLAT' inside the band
Ring Size: P or 7.5 as is but suitable to alter for fit. This is a free service, just leave a message on your order form. Please note that the 'beads' which are shown inside the band will be removed on adjustment
In most cases the boxes are for display only but a nice quality modern reproduction box will accompany this piece.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
