Oh, raptur'd muse! A very special and winsome creation recycled in our workshop from a broken but still immensely beautiful antique Georgian Diamond brooch. The memory of times past, a heart shaped shield illuminated with the sprinkled glimmer of olden Rose cut Diamonds; each one hand faceted back in the 18ct century or earlier. Fascinating and unique... look at our magnified photographs to appreciate their darling beauty. Fashioned of old; interpreted anew, we feel a doubly precious meaning in this jewel... the shield a protective shape and the tender heart the murmur of love.
The whole is crafted in Silver to a romantic open floriate design and we believe of Continental origin circa 1780's. On a chunky vintage 9ct belcher link chain with a darkened patina which we feel compliments the pendant nicely. It measures 18 inches and weighs 15 grams.
The heart measures just over an inch each way.
